Volunteers

Our parents are an integral part of the success of our school.  Parents & guardians of all students are encouraged to participate in the volunteer program.  A sign-up sheet is sent home early in the year listing the many aspects of volunteerism in our school.  Volunteers wok in the library, lunchroom, office, classrooms, kitchen, and on the playground.  Volunteers may also serve as room captains assisting with classroom programs, parties and field tips.

Redner’s Save-A-Tape Program
Please remember to save your Redner’s receipts. You must use the ‘Save-A-Tape’ card for the receipt to count. These cards are available in the school office. Also, please send in the entire receipt - Redner’s will only honor whole receipts. Last year, this program earned over $690.00 for our school.

Printer/Toner Cartridges/Cell Phones
Please keep sending in the used laser, inkjet, and toner cartridges; also used cell phones. Just put the old cartridge in the new cartridge box and send it to school with your child, or drop it off inside the main entrance of the school. This is an easy way to earn money for our school and recycle!

Grocery Certificate Program

Giant, Redners, Weis

Our Lady of Hungary Regional School offers the Grocery Certificate Program to earn fundraising credit.

How do Grocery Certificates work?

The certificates work just like any other type of gift certificate you have used.  They are purchased at school and used like cash at the three participating stores and gas stations.   Each participating family will receive 4% of their purchase applied toward their fundraising quota.

What are the benefits for my family?

Using an example of $100 per week in grocery and/or gas purchases you family will accrue $160 towards your fundraising quota ($100 x 40 weeks = $160).  If larger amounts are purchased the credits will be greater.

Can I buy certificates for others or can others buy certificates and I receive the credit?

Yes.  Your benefits increase when non-school families, relatives, friends, neighbors etc purchase Grocery certificates and credit their purchase to your family.  Your family's fundraising credits will accrue even faster.  If someone else fills out the form, be sure to have them designate your child as the recipient of the credit.

When does the Grocery Certificate fundraising credit start?

This program is always running.   Certificates purchased before April 30th of the current school year apply to that year.  Anything after that date or during the summer applies to the next school year.

When can the certificates be purchased?

Send orders to school on Monday or Tuesday with the student.  Orders will be sent home on Wednesday in the family folder.

How will I know how much fundraising credit my family has earned?

We will keep detailed records of your purchases and send a report at the beginning of May to let you know if your have reached your fundraising quota.
