 Kindergarten News

 

Welcome to Kindergarten!

We are having a great time here in Kindergarten!  Every day we are more relaxed with each other and are certainly getting into the routine. 

This week we began Centers.  The students are in a small group and complete 4 centers in 2 days, and then start all over again for 4 more so that they complete 8 within the week.  Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered to share their "spare" time with us in Kindergarten.

I Religion we have been learning about God and that He gave us EVERYTHING in our wonderful world!  We celebrated Mary's birthday on September 8th! 

In Math we have been talking about position words (over, under, on, in out, etc.).  Please begin to practice right and left, as we will be visiting that task very soon and we can use a lot of help with that!!!

In Phonics we have been talking about rhyming words and reviewing our letters. 

WOW!!!  We have been busy! 

 

IMPORTANT DATES:

Friday, October 1st - Walk-a-Thon and Noon Dismissal

 

Reminder:  If you have not sent in your supply fee or center fee, please do so ASAP.
