MathCounts Competition Congratulations to the Team for finishing 13th out of a total of 34 schools!!! This is our best outing to date. Congrats also to Tyler C. for placing 35th out 27 attending students!! Great job everyone! I hope everyone had a great experience this year.

MathCounts is a mathematics competition whose mission is to increase enthusiasm for and enhance achievement in middle school mathematics throughout the United States. Our Lady of Hungary Regional School will compete in the local chapter of this competition. Students in grades six through eight are eligible to compete. OLHRS will bring a team of four students plus eight individual competitors to the competition held at a Lehigh Valley Location on a Saturday in mid February, from 9am to 3 pm. The competition consists of short and long word problems of varying difficulty. Practices will be conducted during the school day at various times. This change was made due to the high number of afterschool activities already taking place. School day practices allow students to participate in more extra-curricular activities since the time after school has become restrictive.
